Like our Keep Our Community Moving Program, Tires for a Change was designed to insure
people have safe, reliable tires for their transportation needs.
History:
David Boye and Maria Phelps from Black Diamond Mortgage in Whitefish, MT were the original
founders of Tires for a Change. They helped more than 100 people before generously bestowing it to A Ray of Hope. In August 2023, A Ray of Hope began oversight of this program. People can apply for this for tires year round and we are able to assist, as funds are available.

If you would like to make a difference and help someone with a set of tires, please contact A Ray of
Hope. Every donation helps, no matter how big or small. Coordinated donor and recipient media
acknowledgement can be part of this promotion and videos will be posted on social media.
We would like to thank every individual and business who has and continues to financially support this program. We rely on your support annually.
To Apply:
To apply for this program, come into the office located at 46 5th Ave. W., Kalispell, MT. All applicants will need to provide proof of a valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and registration.
