Hello! My name is Daniel and for the past 5 ½ months, I have been a guest of A Ray of Hope.  I thought that for those who might be interested, I would share some of my story on my journey from rock bottom to salvation and hope. I was born in South Georgia to a very loving mother, rest her soul and unfortunately, an absentee, alcoholic and drug addict father.  My parents divorced when I was 6 or 7 and my mother was left to do her best to raise my brother and I alone. In 2018, I was living in Washington headed for a not-so-bright future. I was in and out of jail and my son (10 years old) was living with my mom while I was in a tent nearby.
